such as O2
and SO2
- Molecular refers to a substance existing as discrete, separate molecules, such as the gaseous form of
sulphur dioxide
(SO2)
- Compounds are molecules formed from more then one type of atom such as molecules of sodium metabisulphite
(Na2S2O5).
