Total sulphur dioxide (TSO2)

• Total sulphur dioxide (TSO₂) concentration is the concentration of FSO₂ (free sulphur dioxide) and BSO₂ (bound sulphur dioxide) combined.
  
  
• TSO₂ (total sulphur dioxide) concentrations in combination with FSO₂ (free sulphur dioxide) concentrations are significant in detecting and differentiating between oxidation and microbial activity.
  
  
• TSO₂ concentrations are used to determine SO₂ concentrations in red wine (see red wine oxidation)
  
  
• Both export and domestic legal limits may apply for TSO₂ concentrations in wine.
