Total sulphur dioxide (TSO2)
- Total sulphur dioxide (TSO2) concentration is the concentration of FSO2 (free sulphur dioxide) and BSO2 (bound sulphur dioxide) combined.
- TSO2 (total sulphur dioxide) concentrations in combination with FSO2 (free sulphur dioxide) concentrations are significant in detecting and differentiating between oxidation and microbial activity.
- TSO2 concentrations are used to determine SO2 concentrations in red wine (see red wine oxidation)
- Both export and domestic legal limits may apply for TSO2 concentrations in wine.
